Mint, Angeles NF. Twelve miles west of Palmdale, CA. Brush. Minimal fire activity.

The fire spread has slowed this evening with the exception of a few hot spots. Firefighters are now working to complete hand and dozer line.

Grasses and medium brush, burning on rolling hills with limited accessibility. Significant resources are attacking the fire which includes 7 crews, 6 engines, 2 Air Attack, 2 Lead Planes, 7 Air tankers, 2 Super Scoopers and 13 Helicopters.
