Monday, 5:08 pm: No active fire behavior due to wetting rains. Ground resources continue to build and improve hand line construction while patrolling the fire.
Sunday, 7:50 pm: Precipitation occurred over the fire this afternoon. Threat to Bodie State Park to the SE of the fire, has decreased throughout the day.
Sunday, 1:05 pm:A road closure is being put in place at the southbound access to Geiger Grade Rd. intersection to Bodie Mountain. Ground resources continue to build and improve hand line construction while patrolling the fire. Priority is to strengthen the eastern flank of the fire perimeter. There is a potential for further unstable weather to pass through the area today.
Sunday, 12:25 pm: Open flame visible, but fire is not actively moving.

Reconnaissance being conducted, initial reports are that overnight fire behavior was calm.
