Dobbins area, CA. Brush, moderate rate of spread. Groundcrews, air tankers and helicopters on scene.
Strike teams and hotshot crew on order. 4th tanker and second helicopter on order.
4:30pm Smoke is visible from North San Juan, Nevada City area.
4:42pm Updated acreage. Airtac reports the retardant drops are slowing the progress of the fire. The fire is burning in the old Dobbins fire area.
4:52pm Fire progression has been stopped. Mopup operations are underway.
5:49pm Some resources are being released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
