The cause of the fully contained fire is under investigation. Air resources have been released, the air tanker made only one drop to assist the ground crews.
The fire started next to Purdon Road. North San Juan Fire and CAL FIRE engines and water tender remain on scene for mopup operations. The fire was quickly contained, no structures damaged, no road closures, no evacuations.
