NEVADA CITY, Calif. August 10, 2009 - Rock Creek Road, Nevada County. One large spot, approx. 1 acre in heavy fuels, difficult access. Air and ground resources were on site.

Powerlines are down, PG&E has restored power to adjacent areas, working on replacing a downed line once firefighters are done.

The fire is fully contained within the retardant lines. Mopup in progress. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
