Sunshine, Mount Olive Road, Chicago Park area in Nevada County. Vegetation fire of approx. 1/2 acre in the vicinity of Old Coach and Lower Colfax Road. Slow rate of spread.

No structures threatened, no road closures, no evacuations.

Power outage in the area, PG&E is on scene. Good progress is being made. Hoselay around the fire almost completed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

6:54 p.m. Tankers and helicopter have been released from the incident.

7:05 p.m. Mop-up operations are underway.

7:12 p.m. Line around the fire is completed. One injury reported.

7:20 p.m. Crews will remain on scene for a few hours to mop up.

8:12 a.m. Sunshine incident has been terminated. Two engines still on scene are departing and the Washington Ridge Crew 4 has completed cleanup of the incident.
