This activity resulted in embers being carried north out of the fire perimeter, and generated numerous spot fires north of Hwy 89. These spot fires have been eliminated. The afternoon winds also generated a slop over along the north perimeter. The exact size of the slop over in not yet known, but was probably 200 acres or more. Additional crew resources were redirected to the area, and were reported to have the resources needed to contain the slop over. This did not cross or approach Hwy 89.
