ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE DESIRING TO ADDRESS THE COUNCIL OR COMMSION ON ANY ITEM ON THIS AGENDA: After receiving recognition from the Mayor, give your name and address, and then your comments or questions. Please direct your remarks to the Councilmembers. In order that all interested parties have an opportunity to speak, please limit your comments to the specific item under discussion. All citizens will be afforded an opportunity to speak, consistent with their Constitutional rights. Time limits shall be at the Mayor's discretion. 1. Subject: Consideration and Discussion of a Proposed Emergency Ordinance Prohibiting the Use of Fireworks for 2008 in the City of Nevada City.
Recommendation: Introduce the Ordinance, Waive the Reading of the full Ordinance and Adopt the Emergency Ordinance.
2. HEARING FROM THE PUBLIC: Comments on items NOT ON THE AGENDA are welcome at this time. However, action/or discussion by the Council or Commission may not occur at this time. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes.
