February 7, 2012 - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada County is looking for bowlers and sponsors for the 2012 Bowl For Kids Sake Challenge (BFKS), held at Prosperity Lanes in Grass Valley on Saturday, March 24th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Bowl for Kids Sake committee chair, Lindy Schasiepen, announced this year's family-friendly event features a Galactic theme, and encourages everyone to dress up as their favorite extra terrestrial or space traveler. "Everyone can help raise money for this valuable community mentoring program," said Schasiepen, herself a former mentor. Each team is made up of a maximum of 5 bowlers with each bowler raising a minimum of $100. Every bowler who raises the minimum amount receives a free t-shirt.

There will be prizes—for the top fundraiser, both individual and team, best costume and top team score.
