Arrest of Sac Co Sheriff Deputy Donald Black

September 25, 2013 - Yesterday, September 24, 2013, the Nevada County Sheriff's Office Major Crime Unit arrested Donald Black, age 43, of Grass Valley, on the 5000 block of S. Garfield in Sacramento. He was arrested on charges of PC 288 (C) (1) Lewd & Lascivious Acts w/child. He was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility and has since posted bail bond.

The arrest was made following an investigation which ensued after a tip was received on September 20, 2013. Mr. Black is a deputy with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.

The current investigation involves one victim and has been turned over to the Nevada County District Attorney's Office. The investigation will be continuing to determine whether more victims may be involved.
