Blue Lead Mine LLC Appeals Planning Commission Decision to Nevada County BOS

By: YubaNet

NEVADA CITY, Calif. June 7 2010 - According to documents received today by the Nevada County BOS, Blue Lead Gold Mining LLC filed a formal appeal to the BOS to overturn the Planning Commission's decision to deny the vested right to mine.

In the statement of reason for the appeal, Blue Lead's attorney incorrectly states the Planning Commission "voted unanimously in favor of affirming Blue Lead's vested right to mine its Property" at their March 25 meeting. In fact, the commission only voted on a motion of intent on that date. On May 27 the commission voted unanimously to deny vested mining rights to Blue Lead.
