Helicopter Crash near Yuba River - Marysville Road

July 13, 2009 - A helicopter crashlanded close to the Yuba River at Highway 20 and Marysville Road in Yuba County. No injuries are reported at this time. The aircraft clipped several power lines, according to reports from the scene.

No fuel spill or fire danger reported from the scene, the helicopter is on its side on the banks of the South Yuba River. CAL FIRE and Yuba County Sheriff's Office personnel are on scene. PG&E has restored power to 770 customers, mostly in the Brownsville area, affected by the power outage by rerouting the energy supply.
