Judy Nichols and Shawn Tuttle will represent Early Risers' Toastmasters at the International Speech Competition
Mar. 4, 2009 - "It's Your Choice", declared Judy Nichols at the Early Risers Toastmasters International Speech Contest, but as it turned out she was our choice, our choice to represent the club at the Area Contest coming up March 27th. Shawn Tuttle came in second with "Simplify for the Best of You" and will represent the club in the event Judy is unable.

There was stiff competition from Sharon Delgado, Anne King, Robin Mallery and Ruth Schwartz but when the judges totaled their ballots it was Judy and Shawn who had accumulated the most points.

Each of the four local clubs will send a delegate speaker to represent them in the area contest which will determine who will compete at the District level.

Toastmasters is for beginners as well as contest winners and we welcome visitors.

Early Risers Toastmasters meets at 6:30 A.M. every Tuesday at The Trolley Juction restaurant in Nevada City. For more information contact Ruth Schwartz at 530.288.0816
