Jan. 27, 2012 — On a day that doesn't commonly exist—February 29—Mammoth Mountain Ski Area's lodging properties thought it only fitting to offer a room rate that doesn't exist, valid only for Leap Year babies. Anyone born on February 29 can stay free that night at one of four properties, allowing leaplings to celebrate both their birthday and the new snow at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.
