By: Lee Anne Schramel, Plumas National Forest

June 17, 2011 - Several small campgrounds and adjacent portions of access routes on the Feather River Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest will be closed until construction upgrades have been completed. Construction has been delayed because of late season snows.

The closure areas include:

Golden Trout Crossing Campground, adjacent road access to the campground & being on the South Fork of the Feather River within 100 yards upstream or downstream of the campground.

Rogers Cow Camp Campground and adjacent road access to the campground.

Forest Orders and maps for the above closures are posted on the internet at: http://www.fs.usda.gov/plumas .

Contact the Feather River Ranger District for more information about other camping opportunities at 530-534-6500.
