Nevada County: H1N1 vaccinations to begin for very top priority groups

October 26, 2009 - With a very small supply of H1N1 vaccine beginning to arrive in the County, the Nevada County Public Health Department will be starting to immunize individuals in the very top priority groups mandated by the CDC. Starting this week, the Health Department will begin to vaccinate limited numbers of Healthcare workers and First Responder with extensive and high risk patient contact. Eligible individuals will receive information via their workplace. We anticipate having supplies to start vaccine clinics for young children within the next two weeks.
