By: IVth District Committee2Elect

NORTH SAN JUAN, Calif June 21, 2013 - Today is the Cherry Festival. It is also the opening of the 2014 Supervisorial campaign season. For more information, contact IVth.District@yahoo.com or "like" the FB page "IVth District Committee2Elect."

There are openings on the survey committee still; there will some discussion posted here regarding our candidate canvass and endorsement process as it moves along.

We are gearing up toward the 2014 Supervisorial election, preparing a rubric on issues for consideration by any interested candidate seeking endorsement and campaign support.

There will be a separate committee established for campaign fundraising (504c political action committee) as we ramp up later toward actual campaigning.

Our working process will not be open on Facebook; but our subsequent surveys, assessments and final endorsement will be made available.

This is a non-partisan selection process; no candidates are excluded from consideration at present. Separate committees are being formed up to address specific areas of County policies, (such as budgetary allocation of resources, other general revenue issues, health, education, transportation, fire protection, law enforcement and policies, land-use and general planning issues that affect the Ridge, common areas of interest and agreement to other parts of the Nevada County Fourth District.

Please address any questions, interests, specific issues you would like to see addressed or queries directly to the email address provided above.

Don't wait for the election - we need to win this one and we need to start toward that now.
