It is easy to implement, costs hardly nothing to implement, and has a positive impact on our environment! Thanks to this year's winner for submitting the idea that resulted in a substantially reduced number of copies being made. - They opened the Full Circle Demonstration Garden.
- They have distributed 901 composting bins.
- Teach recycling programs to school children of all ages.
- Continually promote recycling to the general public.
The benefit of their effort has been seen and experienced by every member of the community. The team continues to improve their individual training to ensure continued commitment to reducing the waste generated by Nevada County. Let's applaud the effort of Tracey Harper, Recycling Coordinator
