At approximately 8:45 p.m., a propane gas leak ignited due to unknown causes. Residents reported the situation to emergency response personnel from the installation who responded to the scene and extinguished structural fires caused by the explosion.
First responders reported one person killed in the accident, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Two more individuals were seriously injured in the blast and have been evacuated to area hospitals for treatment for third degree burns and shock.
