Nevada City, CA February 22, 2012 – See Jane Do Inc. announced three (3) members of See Jane Do, Elisa Parker, Robin Parisse and Jennifer Hall have been selected as delegates for the 56th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) as part of Jean Shinoda Bolen's delegation, Pathways to Peace February 28th-March 9th, 2012. While in New York, See Jane Do will also cover the 3rd annual Women in the World Summit and host their first Soiree into Action™ outside of Nevada County at Green Spaces (TriBeCa), on March 5th.
While attending these noteworthy events, See Jane Do will capture interviews and meet with partners to develop resources & programming to help their social change organization grow. A special video segment from New York will be produced and shown March 9th at the Gather the Women's 10th Celebration of International Women's Day at the Grass Valley Vet's Hall whose tickets are on sale now. The UN CSW is dedicated exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women. Every year women from around the world including representatives of Member States gather at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City to evaluate progress on gender equality, identify challenges, set global standards and formulate concrete policies to promote gender equality and women's empowerment worldwide.
