TNF Sierraville Ranger District Fire Update July 25

July 25, 2010 - The Sierraville Ranger District had 3 fires that started on Saturday 07/24/10 around 6:30 p.m. The three fires occurred on the northern part of the district. The names of the fires are as follows: Martin (approximately 1 acre), Mill (approximately 1 acre), Neck (approximately 3 acres).

The Neck and the Mill fires are currently in patrol status.

Fire behavior is minimum. Weather conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms in the morning and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. Red flag warnings have been issued from 11AM to 6PM today.

At this time, the fires are staffed with 1 crew, 2 engines, and 13 overhead personal.

Smoke conditions range from, Light to Moderate.

Road closures: None.

The Sierraville fires is staffed by crews from: U.S. Forest Service.
