December 11, 2012 - Recently Truckee PD has taken several reports of stolen snowblowers. Most of these have been Honda snowblowers. They have been taken from front and side yards of residences, often during daylight hours.
Truckee PD would like to remind citizens that while we have a very safe community, crimes of opportunity due occur. Please remember to secure items. Also, if you are buying used items, please make sure it is from a reputable person.
