Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe presents 4th annual Black Tie & Tails fundraiser

TRUCKEE, Calif., (Feb. 7, 2012) — Dressed to the nines, with leash in hand. That is what Feb. 18 is all about at the Ritz Carlton in Lake Tahoe.

A champagne celebration to our 'best friends' wouldn't be the same without them present, which is why the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (HSTT) invites you and your pooch to join the forth annual gala.

Support the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe while enjoying a black-tie evening of dinner, dancing, special entertainment, and music by DJ Silver Boombox Thief. Tickets sell for $150/person + 1 dog. Call 530.587.5948 to purchase tickets.

"Seating is limited, and tickets are almost sold out, but we want a full turnout," said Stephanie Jensen, executive director of the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. "This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and 100% of the proceeds benefit our programs."

This black-tie-optional event will feature a Best Dressed Pet Contest and an adoptable dog parade, along with other special entertainment. Come dressed to impress, and enjoy the evening while supporting a great cause.

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets through adoptions, community spay/neuter services and humane education programs. To meet adoptable dogs and cats, go to HSTT's Adoption Day, every Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Town of Truckee Animal Kennel, or call (530) 581-3199 to schedule an appointment. To learn more about HSTT, call (530) 587-5948 or visit www.hstt.org. For more information about the event, contact Stephanie Jensen at steph@hstt.org. To purchase tickets, call (530) 587-5948.
