Vehicle rollover on Highway 20 West of Brighton overpass

April 30, 2013 - Grass Valley and Nevada County Consolidated Fire engines responded to a single vehicle roll over on Highway 20 West of Brighton at 4:30 am this morning.

Arriving engine companies found a single vehicle that had overturned in the Eastbound lanes of Highway 20, a single patient was out of the vehicle.

Firefighters along with medics provided patient care prior to transport to local hospital. A single lane of Highway 20 was briefly closed for the incident.

Fire crews removed debris from the Highway including cutting several small trees that had fallen onto the roadway.

CHP and Sierra Nevada Medics assisted. All units were released at 5:00 am.
