October 4, 2013 - NorCal will continue to be impacted by breezy to windy conditions today. North winds in the valley will be strongest near and west of the I-5 corridor. Winds along the Western Sierra slopes will be strongest below canyons and passes.

Local power outages possible and fire weather concerns persist due to winds and low humidity. Winds in the valley will begin to decrease by late afternoon while mountain winds will decrease tonight but could still be breezy into early Saturday morning.

The rest of the weekend will be seasonal and mild. Models showing a low pressure system over NorCal late Tuesday through Wednesday which will bring cooler temperatures plus the possibility of rain and snow over higher terrain.
