Children bear brunt of war as school year starts in Ukraine. Four children from Irpin, Ukraine are looking forward to a new school year, but war means there is no school building to go back to. On 24 February, four children – Katya, Arina, Yaroslav and Artem – had expected to go to school and meet their school friends, like any other day. But that morning they awoke to the sound of explosions that turned their lives upside down.
