Fire is located on the east side of Upper Lake, burning in oak woodland.

CAL FIRE and Lake County firefighters are on scene of a vegetation fire in the area of Foothill Drive at Country Club Drive in the community of Lucerne. The fire is burning in grass and brush and is approximately 69 acres in size and 75% contained.

CAL FIRE and Lake County firefighters are on scene of a vegetation fire in the area of Foothill Drive at Country Club Drive in the community of Lucerne. The fire is burning in grass and brush and is approximately 60 acres in size. Forward rate of spread of the fire has been stopped. The structure threat has been mitigated. There are currently no evacuations or road closures in place.
Cooperating Agencies: CAL FIRE, North Shore Fire Protection District, Lake County Sheriff Department, and United States Forest Service.

T 60 out of Chico assisting with retardant drops.
Per Lake County Sheriff: Northshore Fire Protection District along with other agencies have responded to a report of a wildland fire in Lucerne above Country Club Drive and Foothill. Approximately 5 homes have been evacuated. At this time, no other evacuations have been called for. Residents are requested to remain out of the area to allow firefighters to safely operate. Additional information to follow as events progress.
