With this wind shift, temperatures will be a bit cooler this afternoon and minimum relative humidity will be a little bit higher. Fire crews continue to mop up and patrol the fire perimeter. For tonight, winds are expected to be weak with northeasterly winds across the ridges and drainage winds at lower elevations. No further progression of the fire is expected, an estimated 1,200 residents have been evacuated from: Cal State Channel Islands, Pt Magu Naval base and old Conejo Rd.
