  1. I’m appreciate the info you provide. I”m off La barr on Warren Dr. The b— is the wind is blowing north towards me. I have confidence in our firefighters. Good luk to all who are in the path. Fire is no joke up here in G.V. Was here for the 49er, and at the time I thought that was too close when I could see it across the draw on Wolf Mt. Good luck to all. Church

  2. There is no way to express our gratitude to all the responders who handled this fire so quickly! Thank you so very, very much!❤️

  3. Thank you so much for your timely updates on the Alta Sierra fire this afternoon. I live in Alta Sierra and was under an advisory evacuation order. Your reports helped me know what to do and what was going on THANK YOU Cal Fire for getting this fire under control !!!

  4. As others have said, thank you YubaNet for keeping us informed. I don’t have social media, so this was the best method, in addition to speaking with neighbors, for us to know how close we were to the fire. We were packed up quickly and ready to go. Fire “go bags” are no joke, highly recommend making them for your pertinent documents and cherished items. Also film your home and your belongings for ease of claims if you’re hit by a fire. Much easier to remember what was lost with visual assistance.

Thanks to all the Fire crews and helpful LEOs.

  5. Thanks the firemen of our local district, cal fire, and our local cal fire air unit and great helicopter unit. This fire was stopped. It really helped that some of our neighbors had great defensible space with yards cut really short and trees that were limbed up. When the fire jumped to one of those yards it was safe to use garden hoses to get control of the fire although it still got close to their house. But a near by vacant lot that was not cleared at all and a neighbors yard that was not adequately cleared and which still had so fallen oak in the yard were big problems requiring air drops and firefighters. Please work on you defensible space. Thanks to those in my neighbor who had their yards in great shape. It really helped to save our neighborhood
