NEVADA CITY, Calif. June 7, 2018 – Additional vote-by-mail ballots postmarked on or before election day have arrived at the Nevada County Elections Office.
As of today, 15, 059 ballots remain to be counted:
13,606 vote-by-mail ballots
77 provisional ballots
464 conditional ballots
883 damaged ballots will have to be duplicated before scanning
29 ballots were forwarded to other counties.
Any vote-by-mail ballot postmarked on or before election day received by tomorrow will be added to the total above, in accordance with the Voters Choice Act code.
The Elections Office will release updated results Monday around noon. These results and any other updates will be unofficial results until the election is certified.
