October 10, 2018 – Bruce Herring, candidate for the Nevada Irrigation District Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the endorsements of two prominent residents of Division 2: Carolyn Singer and Randy Oliver.

Carolyn Singer is a master gardener and award-winning author. She has written for multiple gardening publications such as Garden Gate, Fine Gardening, and Better Homes and Gardens.

Singer said of Bruce, “Bruce has the communication skills essential to serve as an effective NID director, including a commitment to listening and consensus building.”

Randy Oliver is a biologist and world-renowned beekeeper, he is the founder of ScientificBeekeeping.com.

Oliver added, “As a taxpayer, agricultural landowner, and biologist, I questioned Bruce on many aspects of the long-term direction of NID regarding fiscal responsibility, the environment, and community. Bruce has done his homework, has a good understanding of the issues, and appears to be someone who can respectfully listen to the concerns of all sides.”

“Sally and I met Carolyn and Randy nearly twenty years ago and re-connected during the course of this campaign. They have each invested many years of dedicated service in our community. I am honored by their support” said Bruce.

The election is entirely vote by mail, and voters will be receiving their ballots this week. For more information visit herringfornid.org
