Nevada County, Calif. April 16, 2021 – Today, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced 50% of Californians age 16 and older now have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data shows 24,117 residents of Nevada County are fully vaccinated, 24.2% of the total population. 58,926 doses have been administered in Nevada County, both first and second doses.
24,045 residents 18 and up are fully immunized, 29% of this population segment.
Seniors aged 65 and up are the only age group for now where a majority of residents is fully immunized. 14,854 seniors, 52.5% of the age group have been fully vaccinated.
Appointments for any resident 16 and older can be made via the MyTurn.ca.gov website. Nevada County Public Health Department has released appointments for the upcoming week today at noon. A list of additional providers can be found here.
