GRASS VALLEY, Calif. June 26, 2017 – On Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 4:26 pm Grass Valley Police Officers were dispatched to an apartment on Sutton Way regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located an unconscious adult male inside the apartment. The officers performed CPR until medical personnel arrived on scene. However, the male did not recover and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers learned that an altercation had occurred at the apartment prior to their arrival. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the incident. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
Because of the nature of the investigation, no other information can be released at this time. The identity of the victim will be released by the Coroner’s Office once the next of kin have been notified.
