NEVADA CITY, Calif. September 12, 2019 – Celebrate the life of John Douglas Parent, in style. Join us in the heart of Broad Street where John, Niel, and Todd’s Nevada City history began from 1978 to the present day. The event will begin at Java John’s, spill into Golden Era, and move down the hill to the Mine Shaft Saloon.
Broad Street (Pine to York) will officially be closed to traffic in order to create a block party atmosphere.
Say goodbye to John with socializing, music, dancing, and joyous laughter!
Prepare a story, reminisce in memory, do an impersonation, or simply be present to chat and drink coffee at Java John’s or a martini at Golden Era.
Popcorn, apple, and cheese shall be served. No host bar.
Dress up, dress comfortably, or in a way that celebrates John.
All are welcome.
