Mali Dyck

NEVADA CITY, Calif. October 26, 2018 – Mali Dyck has been appointed as Nevada County’s Assistant County Executive Officer (CEO).

Mali has been with Nevada County for over six years, most recently serving as Interim Human Resources Director as well as Interim Deputy County Executive Officer. She has been involved in numerous projects and initiatives across the County ranging from strategic planning, to labor negotiations and workforce development opportunities.

Alison Lehman, Nevada County CEO, says, “We are looking forward to having Mali on our executive team. With over six years of experience and knowledge of Nevada County operations, and having served as Interim Deputy CEO for over a year, her skillset will help to continue to drive the County forward on important Board priorities such as economic development and housing.”

Prior to coming to the County, Mali worked in the private and non-profit sectors. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Nebraska and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Public Administration program at California State University, Northridge. Mali graduated from Nevada County Community Leadership Institute (NCCLI), completed the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Executive Credential program in 2016 and is certified in Project Management.

Mali starts as Assistant CEO on November 5th.
