California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and Nevada City Vice Mayor Daniela Fernández are holding a listening session for Western Nevada County merchants on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 5:15 pm.
Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, the federal government has given California $28 billion for assistance and the state still has funding they are looking to disperse to underserved (rural) communities, business owners, and residents.
Over the last two years, Treasurer Ma has attended over 300 Zoom webinars to hear from residents about the needs and difficulties they’ve faced during these challenging times. Now she’s coming to Nevada City to hear directly from our merchants about how the state of California can assist further.
