NEVADA CITY, Calif. November 5, 2018 – According to voter return data by Political Data Inc. 13,306 Nevada County voters age 65+ returned their voted ballots by Saturday morning.  In stark contrast, only 1,307 voters age 18-34 dropped their ballots of.

Out of the 23,812 ballots returned by Saturday morning, 9,235 were by registered Democrats, 9,236 by registered Republicans and 5,341 by voters with other party or decline to state affiliations.

There are 69,028 registered voters in Nevada County.

As of tonight, the Nevada County Elections Office has received 33,224 ballots and 23,600 have been processed. All votes will be tabulated after the close of polls on Tuesday.

Tomorrow, Tuesday Nov. 6, vote centers open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm. If you haven’t mailed your ballot, find the closest vote center to you to here and drop of your ballot or vote in person.
