January 1, 2019 – Michelle (Shelly) O’Connor, a Human Services Specialist with the Department of Social Services, was recently recognized by the California State Assembly for her volunteer work with Veterans at the 8th Annual “Spirit of Veterans Day” Ceremony.
“I come from a military family and this is my way to serve by volunteering with my veterans. I love it. It is very rewarding being able to help out these guys and gals after they have given some much for us,” said Shelly.
Shelly is always on hand to help out Veterans and is working on getting certified to be able to assist Veterans more.
