November 28, 2017 – The Nevada Union High School Girls Soccer team will be holding the first annual tournament over the next two weekends. The tournament is intended to raise money for the girls’ soccer program, to help pay for coaches and trainers, uniforms, and referees for all home games. NU Girls Soccer is still seeking sponsors for the program. Sponsors can contact Joseph Breault, Head Coach, at jbreault@njuhsd.com.
With 8 schools (Colfax HS, Sutter HS, Placer HS, Oakmont HS, Yuba City HS, Kennedy HS, Las Plumas HS and NUHS) participating, the team looks forward to an exciting tournament. Spectators are welcome and appreciated, refreshments will be available for sale and volunteers are welcome to help.
When: December 1 and 2 for the Varsity Girls and December 8 and 9 for the Junior Varsity Girls
Where: NUHS Hooper Stadium
Times: 8:30 to 5:30 PM Friday and Saturday
