April 16, 2020 – The Penn Valley Rodeo is usually held the third week in May, however with the COVID19 shelter in place order in full swing the Penn Valley Community Rodeo Board has made the decision to reschedule the rodeo to a safe date in order to provide our community a fun event to look forward to after months of staying home.
This year’s event will again feature the high action, top notch livestock of Four Star Rodeo Company and the tough competitors of the California Cowboy Professional Rodeo Association along with Pro Rodeo Announcer Don Jesser, Rodeo Queens, Mutton Busting, Calf Scramble and more. As always local non-profit organizations will benefit from this event and there will be fun for all with a delicious Bar B Que, ice cold drinks, vendors, a kids zone and of course a rodeo dance each night with the James Slack Band.
Tickets will be available soon at www.pvrodeo.com as well as various locations.
