The Nevada County for Human Rights in Palestine, a self-described coalition in occupied Nisenan land dedicated to fighting anti-Semitism, Zionism, and islamophobia, held a march and a banner drop on the Broad Street Bridge in Nevada City. On the other side of the bridge, counter-demonstrators proclaimed their solidarity with Israel. Both sides chanted their slogans and, in typical Nevada City fashion, the protests were peaceful.
