The 2018 Nevada County Economic and Demographic Profile was produced by the Center for Economic Development (CED) at California State University, Chico, with funding provided by Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC). The profile is organized to reflect five core sets of community characteristics: population, environment, economy, society, and industry.
District 3 Supervisor Dan Miller, who represents Nevada County on RCRC’s Board of Directors, says, “This report provides Nevada County with valuable data that can be used to see where our strengths and areas for improvement are in Nevada County, as well as have the data to make better informed decisions when it comes to the economic development of our community.”
