NEVADA CITY, Calif. December 1, 2017 – Join students from Forest Charter School’s 6th-8th grade PACE Co-op for a family-friendly fun time, where members of the community can run or walk the Nevada City race route, proudly wearing their silliest sweaters in support of both a healthy lifestyle and the students’ field trip fund.

Participants can even walk with a stroller (but leave your pups at home, please) and every participant will receive an ornament handmade by the students of the program.

Registration opens at 8am, run/walk begins at 9am. You can also pre-register by emailing race director Michelle Litton Ogaidi at You will be emailed a copy of the registration to mail in. The cost is $10 for 13 and under and $20 for 14 and up.

There will also be a raffle with tickets sold on-site for an array of prizes donated by members of the community.

Forest Charter School is located at 470 Searls Ave, Nevada City (the site of the former Gold Run Elementary School).
