The overnight smoke forecast shows persistent haze and smoke over the Foothills and even the Sacramento Valley. Increased fire activity on the 517,945-acre Dixie Fire, the 74,759-acre Monument Fire, the 40,684-acre McFarland Fire as well as numerous other fires is producing more smoke.

Health Advisories for smoke have been issued in Pacer, Yuba and Sutter counties. The health advisories for Nevada, Sierra, Plumas and Lassen counties are ongoing.
