Yuba County Sheriff Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified man that was found deceased at the bottom of an embankment along the side of Spenceville Rd near the Nevada-Yuba County border on Friday morning 11/26/2021.
Nevada County Sheriff responded to a caller reporting they discovered a body at approximately 11:30 a.m. along Spenceville Rd, and they determined that the location was in Yuba County’s Jurisdiction.
Due to visible injuries on the body, Yuba County Sheriff detectives responded and are investigating the coroner’s case as a suspicious death.
Identification of the man and cause of death is pending an autopsy. The unidentified man is described as a White or Hispanic Male, with an estimated age of late 40’s to 50’s. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
