Nevada City, Calif. February 15, 2024 – Starting February 26th, 2024 through November 1st, 2024, the City of Nevada City will be working with a contractor, Golden State Bridge Inc. to reconstruct the bridge over Deer Creek at Nevada Street. The project will require full closure of the lower portion of Nevada Street at the bridge crossing.
Alternative routes for access are provided below. Detour signage will be in place as construction begins. Pedestrian access will be provided around the work area; however, this portion of the road will be closed to vehicular traffic.
