August 7, 2024 at 2:22 PM Yuba County Sheriff update: We are happy to confirm that Mikhael was located alive and well. He was located along the south side of the lake at approximately 1 p.m. this afternoon by the Yuba County Search and Rescue Team. His exact condition is unknown and the circumstances surrounding what happened are still being determined.
Marysville, CA – Members of the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office and Search and Rescue teams are actively looking for 16-year-old Mikhael Nazorov who was last seen on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Camp Far West Lake. The juvenile was camping at the lake with family when he and his older sister took a walk around the lake. The two got separated and he hasn’t been seen since 7 p.m. His family immediately contacted the authorities, and the search was initiated.
Mikhael is Caucasian, 5’8” tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black shorts, slide sandals, and no shirt.
