Common Goals was founded in 2005 with the desire to help, motivate and support the community members of Nevada County who are experiencing substance use disorder issues (SUD). Common Goals does this thru counseling to people of all ages who are going through challenging situations such as loss of jobs, problems with the justice system and gradual deterioration of the socio-cultural life of individuals. Common Goals wants to share with the entire community the reopening of Lovett House Recovery Center and continue its positive impact for the citizens of Nevada county.

This facility will have 27 beds, up to 6 will be designated for detox, the number of clients will be divided equally between men and women in their own separate building with common areas for group activities in a home like environment, the highest percentage of clients have Medi-Cal insurance.
The Lovett House Recovery Center will provide services 24 hours, 7 days a week and will have a team of 14 staff, trained and skilled with knowledge and compassion.
A comprehensive program has been prepared that includes group counseling, daily exercise, co-ordination medical services, life skills, along with the education to understand coping strategies, relapse prevention tools, mental health management and trauma informed care that is part of the holistic approach to substance use disorder treatments
This project will benefit people with addiction problems and their families who need spaces for healing and social reintegration that aid in the well-being of the entire community of Nevada County.
