Nevada City, Calif. – Nevada County is proud to announce a free spay & neuter program aimed at reducing the local pet population and supporting responsible pet ownership.

On Oct. 21 and 22, the SNIP Mobile Veterinary Clinic will be stationed at the North San Juan Community Center to provide free spay and neuter services for eligible residents.

This initiative is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to promote animal welfare and reduce the number of unwanted litters in the community. Residents of North San Juan and surrounding unincorporated areas are encouraged to apply at www.NevadaCountyCa.gov/SpayandNeuter.

Approved applicants will receive an email with more details on how to secure an appointment by submitting a $40 refundable deposit, which will be returned upon completion of the procedure.
