NCCC is excited to announce the upcoming 2025 Fall Concert on Sunday, October 12, 2:00 pm at Trabucco Ranch, a concert venue nestled in the rural California foothills.

This impressive program will feature music from living composers on the west coast.

Auburn composer, Binns Melander’s, Piano Concerto No.3 will be performed by pianist, Lynn Schugren, and string quintet. Sacramento composer, Masatoshi Mitsumoto’s Pierre et Luce will be performed by cellist, Jia-mo Chen and pianist, Aida Elkhanzade. Grass Valley classical guitarist/composer, Lou Johnson will be performing his set of miniatures for solo guitar titled The Nature of Things. Grass Valley composer, Jerry Grant will premiere his In Memoriam for a small chamber ensemble written for the people of Ukraine. LA film and media composer, Jesse Haennelt will premiere Surrounded, his new string quartet. Oregon composer, Jake Collins will premiere At the End, his new piano trio.

Performances will include a cast of top regional musicians. The concert will be followed with a cookie reception.
